As I stepped on stage tonight, there was something in my mind and in my heart that I couldn't quite describe...
It had been 6 years since I walked on stage at the Dewey Beach Music Conference and it felt like only yesterday that I was a young man coming out of college with a band called "Frank Viele & The Manhattan Project" and beginning my journey as an artist. This band gave me my first vehicle as a singer/songwriter to hit the road, learn from some supremely talented musicians, fall on my face a few times, and eventually become the artist and the man that I am today.
6 years ago at that festival I met a record producer named Vic Steffens. A few years and a few wrong turns later, he and I decided to make a record together. An album called Fall Your Way that won The New England Music Awards Album of The Year this year, and re-entered me into the Rock n Roll world...one I now never plan to leave!
Tonight...we opened up the festival and I stepped on stage with 4 new brothers of mine...Max, Jordan, Andrew, and Dee!
As an artist, with these 4 guys on my side, I have never felt so fulfilled, and as a person I am simply excited for the possibilities and what the future holds!
To every club, festival, radio station, friend, musician, and fan who's been a part of my world...thank you for sharing in this journey with me!
I can't wait to see what's behind that next door...
